  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize imaging services.
  • Lead staff training and competency evaluations.
  • Monitor performance and implement improvement strategies.

Full Job Description
Under the general direction of the Director, oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services Department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree: For existing caregivers: must obtain within 48 months of transfer date or equivalent education/experience.
  • Coursework/Training: Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
  • Coursework/Training: Unit specific competency within 90 days of hire.
  • Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or
    • Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or
    • Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
    • Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
    • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
    • Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
    • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
    • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 6 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years of supervisory experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
