This role is part of the TAT-Limco group located in Tulsa, Oklahoma which is
recognized as a world leader in the Aerospace Industry. As the premier choice for
Heat Transfer manufacturing and MRO, TAT-Limco provides high-value alternatives
to Defense, Commercial, Regional, and Rotary Aircraft customers worldwide.
Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of mechanical/design engineers supporting
aerospace heat exchanger product lines and MRO programs, aligning
priorities with operational goals and technology road maps
- Oversee the full product lifecycle-from requirements definition, design trade
studies, and 3D CAD development to reverse engineering, validation
(PDR/CDR, DFMEA), and certification compliance (FAA/industry standards)
- Drive engineering execution across development and production, including
DFM, prototyping, testing, manufacturing support, and continuous
improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and problem resolution for complex engineering
issues across OEM, military, commercial, and repair operations, ensuring
high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
- Manage engineering change processes (ECR/ECO), apply data-driven
analysis, and ensure designs meet specifications, material/process standards,
and performance requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
while managing multiple projects and priorities using strong project
management practices.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Engineering Leader.
RequirementsBachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required.
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience in heat exchanger, thermal systems, or
aerospace mechanical design.
- Strong background in reverse engineering and sustaining engineering for
manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and engineering
documentation practices.
- Solid understanding of FAA regulatory requirements and approved data
processes.
P
referred Skills- Aerospace heat exchanger experience (plate-fin, shell-and-tube, brazed
assemblies).
- Experience working in an aerospace MRO or repair station environment.
- Experience in manufacturing processes like Welding / Vacuum Brazing / Torch
Brazing of Metals / Chemical Cleaning of Metals / Heat Treatment of Metals /
Machining / Casting / Forgings / Forming etc.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, ASME, and aerospace material/process
specifications.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
