Full Job Description
The Manager, Deal Evaluation will serve as a key leader in successful meeting facilitations for customer contracts and enforcing deal pricing processes. This role will collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Product and Segment Leadership while managing customer deals through the process in response to a customer renewal or new business. The role will report directly to the Director, Deal Evaluation within the overall PSAS (Pharmaceutical Solutions & Services) Pricing team. The role will also be a key business partner to Performance Management, Pricing and Advanced Analytics. This role will assist in monitoring deals through the process from inception through Leadership approval for both Retail and Health Systems. Sales will be responsible for customer interaction and Pricing will be responsible for modeling and financial analysis. The Deal Evaluation team is responsible for managing the process including ensuring a clean handoff of information, providing deal milestone transparency, engaging the right resources, managing the overall timeline, facilitating effective deal reviews and ensuring process compliance. Key Responsibilities • Identify opportunities to evolve the Deal Evaluation process • Coordinate with Sales, Pricing and Product teams • Actively work with segment teams to ensure adoption of Deal Evaluation process • Manage and facilitate the deal evaluation process for existing and new business, from inception through to proposal approval while collaborating with Sales, Pricing and Product teams • Monitor and manage the deal funnel to provide constant visibility to upcoming deal milestones, workforce planning and recommendations for early renewals • Understand deal constructs, pricing terms, market conditions, and competitive dynamics sufficiently to ensure success of deal facilitation meetings Work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment while responding to changing business needs and priorities • Develop and maintain working relationships with business professionals within PSAS and across the McKesson enterprise, to ensure communication of and action on significant events within the business. Also, expand knowledge of through this dialogue to make recommendations and share information across the business Minimum Requirement Degree and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience. Critical Skills • 7+ years of relevant finance or pricing expertise, preferably in a Fortune 100 company • Strong project management skills • Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple projects • Ability to collaborate, influence and gain commitment from multiple stakeholders • Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to all levels of the organization • Excellent meeting and workshop facilitation skills, with proven success in fostering attendee participation and collaboration • Healthcare experience preferred Additional Knowledge & Skills • Demonstrated business and financial acumen • Ability to direct financial analysis and present financial results • Ability to drive execution and team accountability for results • Comfort leading others in a complex, matrixed environment • Ability to develop strong internal and external networks Salary: 114,200.00 - 152,300.00 - 190,400.00 USD Annual with 15% MIP P4 This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
