The Manager, Data Operations is responsible for overseeing one or more functional areas within Data Operations, ensuring operational excellence and project execution in that area. The Manager, Data Operations must maintain a high-level understanding of the company workflows and departmental interdependencies to make educated decisions on best practice policies & procedures. The Manager, Data Operations must be able to perform any task that the team is required to perform and will be able to assist with or complete such tasks as needed. As Manager, Data Operations, you will also be accountable for working with internal teams do improve products and processes for the Data Operations team.

What You9ll Actually Do

• Team Management: Manage the teams responsible for ingesting, processing, and/or delivering files across the enterprise
• Setting Clear Standards: Set clear standards and measurements to ensure the team understands how success is measured and if we9re meeting those expectations
• Maintaining Standards: Coordinating with Team Leads and Individual Contributors to understand the why behind performance trends, scaling out winning solutions and solving business challenges as needed
• Cross-functional Operations Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and clarify business requirements for new client implementation, issue resolution, renewals, and change requests.
• Cross-functional Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and clarify business requirements for new or enhanced Product features across the business.
• Leadership Development: In addition to yourself, ensuring all current and potential leaders are provided sufficient direction and support to learn and grow their own leadership skills
• Data Pipeline Management: Own sections of our Data Pipeline, establishing clear handoffs, monitoring processes, quality controls, and workflow management standards to ensure world-class Data Quality and Availability
• Documentation: Accountable for the team9s management of comprehensive documentation of data analysis and data engineering processes, architecture, and workflows.
• Data System Design & Implementation: Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and data solutions.

Other Duties may include:

• Analyze the mapping of insurance claims, import/export files, and eligibility files for troubleshooting any operational inquiry
• Identify technical issues that may arise from improper enrollment or enrollment changes on electronic data interchange (EDI) files and coordinate with engineering partners to resolve issues
• Coordinates ongoing client implementation and/or EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades
• Ensure that business requirements are translated into actionable solutions that align with organizational goals, leveraging expertise to bridge the gap between needs and implementable solutions
• Creates ad hoc SQL queries to support Operations
• Build and maintain file transmissions through file transfer tools, i.e GoAnywhere, MoveIt, etc

What You Bring to Our Team

• An associate or bachelor9s degree is preferred, but not required
• 3+ years of experience with healthcare related EDI transactions, including 834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277 (TPA Roles only)
• 3+ years of claims adjudication systems like QicLink, Eldorado, GIAS, etc (TPA Roles only)
• 4+ years of experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $135,000 - $160,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. You9re eligible for our full benefits package starting day one.
