What you will doEngagement Support & Solution Deployment
- Partner with regional audit teams to identify opportunities for technology and data-enabled solutions tailored to engagement needs
- Support the planning, selection, and implementation of digital tools (e.g., Clara AI,Alteryx, DataSnipper, Power BI, AI Transaction Scoring, extraction tools).
- Drive teams from awareness to file-level activation, ensuring solutions areimplemented, documented, and enhance audit quality and consistency.
Coaching, Upskilling & Knowledge Transfer
- Deliver targeted in-file coaching and training to help audit teams build self-sufficiency in digital tools.
- Facilitate workshops and upskilling sessions to expand adoption of data-enabledaudit practices.
- Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to engagement teams to strengthen digitalcapabilities.
Data & Analytics Execution
- Support data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes from client ERPsystems supported by the CDSST and offshoring teams.
- Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx Server) to execute template procedures anddevelop custom routines for complex engagements.
- Champion AI-enabled procedures (e.g., AI Transaction Scoring), includingexecution, interpretation, and documentation support.
AI & Innovation Enablement
- Drive adoption of AI tools by coaching teams on effective use of Clara AI and otheremerging technologies.
- Support the development and deployment of custom AI solutions tailored toengagement needs.
- Participate in pilots of new audit technologies with the National Audit Innovationteam and support broader rollout.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship supporting effective delivery across
engagements. - Collaborate closely with Senior Managers and other DASH members to ensure consistent deployment of solutions and sharing of best practices.
- Identify issues, risks, and opportunities in deployment and escalate or resolve as
appropriate.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report on engagement progress and adoption of digital solutions to
support team priorities. - Provide recommendations to improve processes, tools, and overall team
effectiveness.
What you bring to the role- CPA designation
- 5 plus years of audit experience
- Graduate of KPMG's Digital Academy program (Graduate Certificate or Master's)
considered an asset - If not a Digital Academy graduate, candidates should demonstrate examples of leading
digital initiatives locally-at a minimum, by proactively driving the adoption or
implementation of digital solutions on their own audit engagements. - Demonstrated experience leading or driving adoption of digital solutions on audit
engagements - Strong proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., MindBridge, Power BI,
Power Query, Alteryx) - Advanced user of AI-enabled technologies (e.g., Clara AI, AITS, Copilot)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to projects from planning
through execution - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to
influence adoption across engagement teams - Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capability
- Interest in and commitment to innovation and technology in audit
KPMG Ontario Region pay range informationThe expected base salary range for this position is $91,000 to $136,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $122,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
