Manager, Data Analytics (Private Student Lending) SMB Business Development, Inc., 300 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713 Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday What you'll do: • Responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings to inform decision making at all levels of the organization. • May lead a team of data analysts to develop and implement analytical frameworks to uncover insights and improve business performance. • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends that will drive business growth. • Develop models and forecasts to support business planning and decision making. • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide insights to inform business strategies. • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by monitoring data sources and implementing quality control processes. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. • Hybrid work permitted 2 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of the Newark, Delaware Office. WHAT YOU HAVE: Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst, or related role where required experience was gained. Also requires 2 years of experience in the following: • SQL, Python, or R; • Data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Power BI; • Write and maintain queries at an intermediate skill level, including table joins, sub-selects, manual business logic calculations, and case when groupings; • Perform and interpret the results of statistical analysis such as logistical regression to provide critical and actionable business insights; • Python capabilities and packages such as Pandas, to create and maintain business processes such as external data collection; • Implement automation techniques for recurring reporting and data enablement to ensure accuracy and ease effort; • Create and maintain visualizations in Power BI to provide greater off-the-shelf business intelligence and performance monitoring; • Create and analyze pivot tables based on data output of queries; and • Implement intermediate-level Excel functions such as sumproducts and vlookups.
