Job Summary

The Cross Bore Program Manager is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide Cross Bore Prevention, Inspection and Remediation program within Construction Operations. This role manages multiple projects and contractors across four jurisdictions to help ensure safe, compliant, and effective execution of program standards, processes, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional communication and coordination among Construction Operations, contractors, Construction Services, DIMP, Asset Protection, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Contracts Program Manager to establish and maintain supplier and contractor support agreements needed for the Cross Bore program, including sewer camera and cleaning services.
  • Oversee internal and contractor performance to help ensure established standards, procedures, and program requirements are consistently met.
  • Manage program execution to align with approved budgets, schedules, quality expectations, and compliance standards.
  • Support the interpretation, application, and implementation of applicable federal, state, and local codes, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide directions to contractors and team members regarding program requirements, priorities, process changes, and remediation activities.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, OR a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Minimum of two years of construction or operations experience in gas distribution or a related field.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of cross-bore impingement discovery, remediation, prevention practices, and program administration.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and operations within natural gas distribution systems.
  • Ability to think strategically, manage competing priorities, and drive program results across multiple jurisdictions.
