The Manager - Creative Marketing & Communications Strategy will help develop visual, written, and multimedia content for a multitude of uses, including proposals. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven, with strong graphic design, writing, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and create high-quality written and visual content for:
- Internal and external client and stakeholder newsletters
- Company news and press releases
- Corporate marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, and other collateral
- Award submissions
- Corporate website
- Social media
- RFQ and RFP responses/proposals, as needed
- Other project and corporate-related communications (event planning, assisting with photo shoots, etc.)
- Ensure all communications uphold consistent corporate brand standards in visuals, writing, and tone
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts, including social media content management and management of Edgemoor's external website, ensuring content is engaging and accurate
- Assist with department operations, including vendor processing and payment and maintaining project tracking systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to gather support for communications initiatives
- Execute content strategies that advance Edgemoor's brand awareness
- Help lead and support proposals
- Focus on how Edgemoor can better market our people as the best and the brightest in our industry
- Support people and culture initiatives as needed, including planning and coordination for corporate outings, such as conferences, off-sites, and volunteer events
Basic Qualifications:- 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in marketing and/or communications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with Premiere Pro a plus
- Command of visual design principles to create appealing and effective communication
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and a keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience with various web design platforms is a plus (Squarespace, Drupal)
- Strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
- Ability to "think outside the box" and be creative
- Ability to work as part of a full team but able to remain independently motivated
