The Manager, Signature Initiatives plays a critical role inadvancing GreenShield's mission of Better Health for All by leading the design,execution, and scaling of high-impact partnerships and initiatives withinGreenShield Cares.
Operating at the intersection of social impact and businessstrategy, the role is accountable for delivering measurable social impact andenterprise outcomes across priority focus areas, specifically women's healthand essential medicines, accelerating progress toward the organization's 2030ambitions.
Reporting to the Director, Signature Initiative, theManager leads and stewards complex, cross-functional initiatives from conceptthrough to scale, mobilizing internal teams and external partners to buildintegrated care models, establish partnerships, and generate system-levelimpact. The role drives implementation, co-investment, governance, andperformance management, while enabling the scaling of solutions that expandaccess and deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities:- Translate CSV strategy into execution frameworks, workplans, budgets, milestones, and tactical delivery plans across Women's Health and Essential Medicines portfolios
- Drive priority initiatives, pilots, products, and growth opportunities aligned with approved portfolio strategies and business objectives
- Track progress against initiative goals, identify risks and blockers, and provide updates, recommendations, and materials to support decision-making and delivery
- Cultivate and steward relationships with community, nonprofit, clinical, government, and ecosystem partners, supporting partnership development and ongoing engagement
- Lead partner coordination, including meeting preparation, reporting cadence, follow-ups, and cross-functional alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Support co-investment and funding strategies by contributing to business cases, resource allocation discussions, and investment decision-making
- Oversee portfolio-level budget management, tracking spend, timelines, risks, deliverables, and resource needs across initiatives
- Strengthen governance and accountability through documentation, reporting processes, risk management, and fiduciary oversight
- Design and embed enterprise-wide tools, frameworks, workflows, and processes to support integration of CSV initiatives into products, technology, care pathways, and operations
- Orchestrate cross-functional delivery across Product, Health, Digital, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to advance implementation and scale
- Translate pilots and early proof points into repeatable, scalable delivery models that can be embedded across the enterprise
- Establish and lead impact measurement processes, including data collection, performance tracking, and reporting across portfolios
- Analyze and synthesize data, insights, and partner learnings into clear narratives, reporting materials, and impact stories demonstrating social impact and enterprise value
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR- Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g., Public Policy, Business Administration, Social Innovation, Health Systems) or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in partnerships, social impact, health systems, or related fields
Proven experience leading cross-sector initiatives from concept through to scale - Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior-level partnerships across corporate, nonprofit, and government stakeholders
- Experience in strategy execution, program management, governance, and performance reporting
- Strong understanding of Creating Shared Value, health equity, social impact, and innovation principles
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills; ability to operate in ambiguity and lead cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:- Master's degree in a related field
- PMP certification
- Experience in insurance and/or healthcare sectors
- Experience operating across corporate and nonprofit environments, delivering Creating Shared Value (CSV) partnerships
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset
