This position is hybrid working out of our Madison, WI office location

The Manager, Content, Storytelling & Thought Leadership leads the development of strategic narratives, enterprise storytelling, thought leadership content, and transformation communications that strengthen organizational alignment and reinforce enterprise priorities. This role translates complex operational, financial, technology, product, and transformation initiatives into compelling stories that engage stakeholders, build understanding, and demonstrate business impact. The Manager is responsible for positioning transformation outcomes, innovation initiatives, and organizational achievements through high-quality content that supports executive communications, leadership engagement, cultural transformation, and enterprise adoption.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise transformation narrative and storytelling framework.
  • Create compelling content that communicates transformation progress, outcomes, business value, strategic priorities, and future vision.
  • Translate complex business, operational, technology, AI, financial, and transformation initiatives into audience-specific messaging and stories.
  • Produce enterprise-wide communications including newsletters, leadership updates, intranet content, articles, videos, town hall materials, and associate communication campaigns.
  • Develop success stories, case studies, business impact summaries, and value realization narratives that demonstrate transformation outcomes.
  • Develop business value stories and proof points that demonstrate how transformation improves quality, readiness, customer and member experiences, scalability, growth, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with executives and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content supporting organizational priorities and innovation initiatives.
  • Establish enterprise content standards, editorial guidelines, and messaging frameworks that promote consistency and brand alignment.
  • Oversee content planning and storytelling calendars supporting enterprise communication priorities.
  • Monitor content performance, audience engagement, and communication effectiveness to continuously improve transformation storytelling and stakeholder understanding.
  • Support executive communications through story development, supporting narratives, speeches, and presentation messaging.
  • Develop communication resources, talking points, and narrative support that help leaders connect transformation priorities to their teams and day-to-day work.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience developing strategic communications, strategic presentations, leadership messaging, and stakeholder engagement strategies required.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience or demonstrated experience leading complex cross functional initiatives, teams, or programs required.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams, owner groups, or governance forums required.
  • Demonstrated success translating complex business strategies into clear and compelling narratives for associates at all levels.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment through strategic communications.
  • Experience in PBM, pharmacy services, healthcare, managed care, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
