Job Description:- Manages the day-to-day operations of the team and department.
- Adheres to labor and budget guidelines, monitoring team time and attendance.
- Trains and evaluates team members, coordinating and setting up schedules training and education sessions.
- Monitors the department's work for accuracy and workflow.
- Escalates all team member issues to the senior manager or director, as appropriate.
- Checks in with team members regularly to provide mentorship, resolve issues, and ensure performance is reviewed according to policy.
- Maintains rapport with ancillary departments and works with Talent Acquisition for staffing needs.
- Ensures team members are oriented to the department at time of hire.
- Initiates and assumes responsibility for new tasks independently as appropriate and as delegated.
- Keeps up with assigned workload and seeks assistance when necessary.
- Develop and monitors facility schedule to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Mature judgement in dealing with patients, physicians, and insurance representatives [Required]
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs and familiarity with database programs [Required]
- Ability to operate general office machines such as computer, fax machine, printer, and scanner [Required]
- Ability to effectively learn and perform multiple tasks, and organize work in a systematic and efficient fashion [Required]
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and nonverbally, and utilizes effective listening and questioning techniques [Required]

- Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and ability to use discretion when discussing patient related information that is confidential in nature as needed to perform duties [Required]
- Intermediate medical terminology [Preferred]
- Bilingual: English/Spanish [Preferred]
Education:- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:- in business administration, finance, healthcare, or related field
Work Experience:- 3+ Revenue Cycle Experience [Required]
- 2+ Supervisory Experience [Preferred]
- 2+ Customer Service Experience [Preferred]
- 2+ Direct Patient Access Experience [Preferred]
