Full Job Description
Responsibilities: • Oversee external construction management consultants • Oversee design consultants • Manage internal design standard approval process • Approve and monitor project cost • Coordinate procurement & delivery of equipment • Manage interaction with all project stakeholders including franchisees • Manage material and vendor planning for the region • Tender and GC management for new construction projects lead by the corporate team, approx. 20-40 per year • Manage 75+ remodels per year Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural design or construction management • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) • Demonstrates strong technical and project management skills based on construction industry experience required to manage over 100 projects per year (20-40 newly constructed, and 75+ renovations) • Demonstrates thorough understanding of critical path scheduling and sequencing • Demonstrates thorough understanding and working knowledge of contracting, budgeting and change order management • Demonstrate ability to create scopes of work, as well as track project progress and budget management required to manage pipeline execution • Demonstrates effective communication skills in influencing and consensus building used in working with restaurant owners • 3 to 6 years previous experience in third party project management, managing multiple active projects of similar complexity, or direct general contracting management experience, managing multiple active projects preferred. Base salary range of $110,000 - $130,000CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Company's long-term incentive plan. This posting is for an existing vacancy. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
