This position will be posted until filled.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:
  • Develops internal capabilities for commercial lending to automotive dealerships
  • Manages all aspects of commercial credit underwriting for floorplan, term loans, construction loans, and real estate loans
  • Develops and implements strategy for field sales support and serves as a point of contact for new credit requests
  • Develops commercial lending system strategies and manages implementation
  • Provides leadership, coaching, guidance and training for credit analyst development


Qualifications

What makes You an ideal candidate?
  • Proven track record in commercial lending with emphasis in automotive commercial financing
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit underwriting
  • Knowledge and understanding of automotive dealership operations
  • Thorough computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Access knowledge preferred
  • Detailed oriented and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Team player with strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong customer services skills
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills are required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • High energy and fast paced office subject to stressful conditions.
  • Some travel will be necessary.
  • Work schedule will include some nights, weekends, or holidays
    Additional Knowledge and Skills
  • Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
  • Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
  • Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
    Work Experience & Education
  • 3-5 years of directly related professional level experience in an automotive commercial lending environment, including experience in creating and presenting ideas to executive management Pref
  • 2-4 years in a management role, providing leadership, coaching, guidance and training and contributing to staff development Pref
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience Required
  • Master's Degree
