Summary:Provides leadership support to a Clinical Department(s). Accountable for the financial and service-related performance within the clinical service line. Ensures that the financial and service-related standards are consistent with the CHRISTUS Health System mission and meet regulatory requirements. Facilitates the ongoing achievement of the division's mission and goals; promotes the development and improvement of processes directed at providing quality, economic health care services.
Responsibilities:- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Responsible for processing and assisting Department Managers with the development of capital purchases.
- Liaison with CHRISTUS Health Corporate Procurement/Supply Chain.
- Manages & reconciles daily and monthly operational expenses for the Clinical Department(s).
- Assists with monthly clinical operations review, including creating & analyzing data reports.
- Creates, analyzes & reconciles monthly statistical reports to support forecasting & projections and business decisions.
- Maintains monthly financials (responsibility/flex reports).
- Processes and evaluates service contracts; makes value-based recommendations.
- Coordinates and monitors office supplies for the Clinical Department(s).
- Conducts annual and mini inventories for all Clinical Department(s) and location(s).
- Supervises & analyzes labor reports for all Clinical Department(s) and location(s).
- Provides financial analytics to support position requests for the Clinical Department(s).
- Coordinates patient rounding for waiting areas and assigned units.
- Participates in the hiring process within the Department(s).
- Participates in monthly associate rounding.
- Assists Team Leaders with daily operations, as needed.
- Approves special orders in INFOR.
- Assists with Cost savings initiatives for all Clinical Department(s) and location(s).
- Cross-trains Associates using INFOR and Excel, as needed.
- Completes paperwork for ACLS, PALS, and any travel arrangements for the Department(s).
- Coordinates Department celebrations: Nurse Week, Unit Secretary week, etc.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare-related business/financial.
- Experience in Hospital Clinical services preferred.
