The Manager, Clinical Transformation - Tech Strategy will play an integral role in developing the technology roadmap for clinical initiatives being deployed to the field teams. This position will focus on synthesizing internal clinical work, assessing, and prioritizing opportunities for technology, and developing the prioritization process and roadmap to support the tools needed to execute on priorities. This position will partner across clinical strategy, clinical technology and product teams, and clinical and operations leadership. 

The Manager, Clinical Transformation - Tech Strategy will be a thought partner, internal consultant, and leader in continuing to build the right technology to further our clinical strategy. This role will require strategic thinking and creative problem-solving, combined with practical operational experience, to synthesize strategic initiatives and pilots into a technology roadmap that delivers the greatest impact on clinical outcomes and quality of life for kidney patients.    

The Manager will work on a team of highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in consulting, process engineering, change management, and clinical operations. This highly visible and cross-functional role will partner directly with leaders across DaVita Kidney Care to drive forward the organization’s Clinical strategy.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Strategic Thinking: Develop and execute on a technology roadmap aligned with the village clinical strategy. Navigate ambiguous business problems and balance multiple perspectives to create a structured project management approach to ideal solutions.

  • Problem Solving: Synthesize current state and conduct data analyses to generate insights that include trade-offs and risks assessments in order to drive business decisions. Proactively identify conflicts or roadblocks and propose recommended solutions.

  • Relationship management: Collaborate with the clinical strategy teams, the technology teams, the clinical services team, the field operations teams, to develop a technology prioritization process and ensure the process is maintained to support clinical initiatives.

  • People management: Supervise, coach, and develop Analysts (1-2 direct reports) to grow their technical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills; provide regular feedback, mentoring, and structured learning. Responsible for performance development, performance management, retention, team assignments, and teammate relations. Work directly with your managers to create a sustained culture which drives patient safety, compliance, and outcomes. 

  • Influence & communication: Can adapt communication style and information scope to appropriate leadership audiences to maximize efficiency and impact of decisions.

  • Travel: ~25% of the time

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5-7 years of work experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare delivery and patient experience

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills preferred

  • Prior experience as a direct supervisor preferred

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to impact change

  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading multiple initiatives across cross-functional teams.

  • Deep understanding of healthcare markets and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.

  • Proven ability to prioritize, evaluate, and manage workloads while identifying growth opportunities.

The Salary Range for the role is $78,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year.
