Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system!The Laboratory Service Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and directly supervising the activities of the Laboratory department in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. Conducts clinical diagnostic testing on patients, and residents to included blood draws and specimen collections for processing. Performs therapeutic phlebotomy. Fosters change and teamwork to ensure constructive relationships and growth, while maintaining a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and general public.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science
- Upon hire: National Laboratory Medical/Clinical Scientist/Technologist
- Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 4 years Training or experience in high complexity testing
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
Preferred Qualifications:- 5 years Experience in the clinical laboratory with 2 or more years as a staff Medical Technologist during career
- 2 years Health care management
