Summary

The Manager, Category Management is instrumental in supporting the shaping of our indirect procurement strategy and driving adoption within the organization. The incumbent possesses a strong background in category management, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to teamwork and ingenuity, contributing to significant savings and optimized spend.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
• Manage one to two indirect categories, representing approximately $50M of spend.
• Develop and execute strategic category plans (40% strategic planning, 60% hands-on execution).
• Drive savings initiatives and optimize spend under management.
• Improve procurement cycle times for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of indirect procurement processes.
• Travel globally approximately 10% of the time.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
