[email protected] Job Description:The Manager, Infusion Pharmacy is a clinical and operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management of infusion pharmacy services, including sterile compounding, IV therapy management, home infusion medication-use processes, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, resource management, and coordination of patient care. This role blends clinical expertise with operational, financial, quality, and people leadership to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered infusion services across assigned areas.
Qualifications:Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy required. Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field highly preferred.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure required. Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin. Licensure in other states such as Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, and/or Illinois preferred. Ability to obtain additional licensure as needed.
PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency, or equivalent experience highly preferred.
Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification highly preferred.
Experience: - Minimum 3-5 years progressive leadership experience with at least 1-2 years in an infusion, oncology, sterile compounding, or comparable IV therapy environment required.
- Knowledge of USP 797/800 sterile compounding standards required.
- Familiarity with ASHP guidelines, Joint Commission standards, and state board requirements required.
- Experience with chemotherapy, biologic infusion therapy, and/or oncology infusion services desired.
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems, automated dispensing, and medication-use technology such as Epic Willow, Pyxis, or comparable systems desired.
- Demonstrated quality improvement, medication safety, or process redesign experience desired.
