Full Job Description
Job Description

Thomson Reuters is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Campaign Planning Manager to join the Tax, Audit, and Accounting marketing team. In this role, you will own the strategy and deployment of full-funnel, omni-channel marketing campaigns for specific tax products — driving awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue growth across acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell motions.

You will serve as the primary campaign architect for your products, orchestrating integrated programs that span paid digital, paid social, email, nurture, events, sponsorships, BDR enablement, and digital journey touchpoints, in close partnership with content marketing, product marketing, demand generation, field marketing, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Own annual and quarterly campaign strategies for assigned products, aligned to acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell goals.
  • Translate go-to-market priorities and customer/persona insights into integrated campaign plans — objectives, messaging, channel mix, budget, and KPIs.
  • Lead campaign brief development, aligning content marketing, product marketing, and other stakeholders before activation.
  • Balance long-term strategy with agility to respond to market opportunities and business priorities.

Execution

  • Design and deploy full-funnel campaigns across paid digital, paid social, organic search, email/nurture, and BDR programs, partnering with enterprise digital on digital journey touchpoints.
  • Build and execute media channel and sponsorship plans that reach target customers at the right frequency and cadence to hit campaign objectives.
  • Partner on digital customer journey mapping to ensure seamless experiences across touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Project Management

  • Serve as primary campaign project manager, coordinating workstreams across teams for on-time, on-budget, on-quality delivery.
  • Manage intake of briefs, assets, and deliverables; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement in how campaigns move through the pipeline.
  • Lead regular status reviews with stakeholders, maintaining visibility into timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Performance & Budget

  • Define success metrics and reporting frameworks with the analytics team; report on full-funnel performance (impression to closed sale) through the lenses of campaign, asset, and channel performance, with actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Own budget allocation and spend across assigned campaigns — tracked, reconciled against plan, and optimized for ROI.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis, apply learnings to future planning, and continually test and iterate to scale what works.
  • Stay current on emerging marketing trends and technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into campaign strategy.

Accountability

  • Full-funnel pipeline and revenue contribution against acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell targets
  • On-time, on-budget delivery of campaigns and deliverables
  • Consistency and quality of campaign experience across all channels and touchpoints

Experience & Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years in integrated marketing, campaign strategy, or demand generation, with a track record of owning complex, multi-channel programs
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing high performing full-funnel omni-channel campaigns as part of an integrated strategy
  • Strong strategic thinking — able to translate business priorities and audience insights into clear, actionable plans
  • Excellent project management skills across multiple simultaneous programs in a matrixed organization
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical mindset, using performance data to optimize campaigns and report on pipeline/growth contribution
  • Experience with modern marketing tech stacks and demand gen platforms (e.g., Workfront, Anaplan, Salesforce, Tableau, Eloqua)

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience in tax and accounting industry is a plus.
