What this job involves:

As a CAD Manager at JLL, you will operate as a high-level technical lead and program manager overseeing complex CAD, BIM, and spatial data systems. You will independently plan, analyze, problem-solve, and deliver a wide range of CAD governance activities across our business sub-segment, ensuring our database practices support medium to large, complex client initiatives. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees. Collaborating with a broad stakeholder group across multiple countries and locations, you will drive the development of advanced spatial concepts, drawing standards, and systems integration. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career, giving you the platform to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage critical systems that directly impact our organizational objectives and client satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Independently plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of CAD administration and spatial data management activities across the business sub-segment.
  • Manage large CAD/CAFM programs and projects, directing cross-functional teams and managing the planning, progress, accuracy, and overall evaluation of results.
  • Provide specific technical guidance, coaching, training, and direct supervision to CAD team members to support their professional development.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic business relationships to collaborate on drawing management and spatial data standards across business segments, recognizing that what sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe.
  • Apply advanced industry knowledge and conceptual thinking to resolve highly complex, multi-dimensional spatial database and drawing issues in creative ways.
  • Make critical technical and operational decisions under conditions of uncertainty or incomplete information, ensuring outcomes align with broader organizational goals.
  • Lead the definition, direction, and continuous improvement of drawing standards, technology integrations, and system-wide processes.
  • Partner with regional and global technology groups to drive innovative ways of working and manage sensitive programs that impact significant company resources.

Required qualifications:
  • University degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, GIS, or a related technical discipline.
  • Eight or more years of direct relevant experience in corporate CAD administration, space data management, or CAFM system integration.
  • In-depth professional and technical knowledge to manage significantly complex CAD tasks and establish advanced spatial standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise independent judgment, and coordinate deliverables across multiple locations or countries.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify technical barriers and core platform problems, implementing creative solutions to complex spatial data issues.
  • Expert-level mastery of AutoCAD, including template customization, layer logic, scripting, or automated data extraction processes.
  • Deep understanding of international spatial measurement regulations, such as BOMA, IFMA, or IPMS, and their programmatic application.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams, establishing timelines, monitoring quality, and delivering complex client programs.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related technical discipline or advanced professional certifications in CAD, BIM, or IWMS platforms.
  • Experience managing and forecasting budgets or resource allocations for major technological and spatial database projects.
  • Proven track record of managing a small team of direct reports or leading significant professional development and coaching initiatives, as we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
  • Advanced experience transitioning legacy CAD workflows into integrated BIM, Revit, and digital twin environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise database architectures (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and spatial databases (GIS) interacting with CAFM/IWMS software.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude focused on choosing the more inspiring, innovative, and optimistic path on our journey toward success.
