The Business Systems team powers the internal technology and operational processes that help PracticeTek scale. The team designs, implements, and maintains critical platforms across CRM, ERP, HRIS, reporting, and other internal tools, with a focus on system interoperability, data integrity, security, automation, and process efficiency.

As the Manager of the Business Systems team, you'll lead a group of Systems Analysts and Administrators and manage strategic projects that improve how PracticeTek operates internally. You'll drive complex system implementations, data migrations, integrations, upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

Here's how you'll help us bring our mission to life and show up as a Trusted Partner:
  • Lead complex Business Systems projects from planning through execution, including system implementations, data migrations, integrations, and platform upgrades that improve internal operations and scalability.
  • Build and manage clear project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risks, issues, and dependencies so stakeholders have visibility into progress, decisions, and tradeoffs.
  • Create structure and accountability across cross-functional project teams, ensuring business, technical, and vendor partners stay aligned on scope, milestones, deliverables, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintain complete and organized project documentation, including project artifacts, status reporting, decisions, risks, and implementation records.
  • Manage vendor contributions to ensure services, timelines, deliverables, and budgets support successful project completion.

How Success is Measured

Here's how we'll know you're making an impact and raising the bar:
  • Business Systems are aligned to business needs and functional outcomes, with enhancement requests and identified defects handled within established timelines.
  • Business Systems availability, performance, data quality, redundancy and security are assured through proactive operational rigor and incident response.
  • Strategic Business Systems projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to agreed-upon scope, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions are identified early, communicated clearly, and resolved or escalated with minimal disruption to delivery timelines.
  • Stakeholders have consistent visibility into project status, milestones, deliverables, and next steps through accurate reporting and well-maintained documentation.
  • System implementations, migrations, integrations, and upgrades are completed with minimal business disruption and strong adoption by impacted teams.
  • Vendor deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

What You Bring

Your unique talents are what make you shine. For this role, success looks like:
  • 5+ years of management experience, with a strong focus on systems development, business systems implementations, integrations, data migrations, or platform upgrades.
  • 5+ years of systems administration or analyst experience; business systems architecture experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of systems development and project methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid, and Predictive/Waterfall approaches, as well as tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects involving platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, HubSpot, or similar business systems; proven experience delivering results within defined timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
