Description Manager, Business Process Improvement. Develop and maintain a process control system to ensure that business activities are conducted in an efficient manner and to ensure that activities provide a strategic competitive advantage for AAR in the marketplace.
What you will be responsible for:- Development and implementation of effective process management control systems through Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
- Development, monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators consistent with the needs of the business unit and customer requirement to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Education of fellow employees in areas of process methodology, flowcharting, Six Sigma tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through training and development
- Reporting of KPIs to business unit leaders and other interested parties
- Interfacing at all levels with customer and government representatives as necessary
- Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities
- Cooperates with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with AARs policies and applicable laws during cross-functional collaboration on Continuous Improvement projects
- Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects while monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make recommendations for further improvements
- All other duties as assigned
QualificationsWhat you will need to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Quality Improvement techniques
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- 5 years' experience in process improvement, consulting, or other process improvement activities
Year One Critical Success Factors: - Production floor organization/optimization
- Development of data collection process across multiple departments to produce quarterly KPI reports for internal and customer review
- Build upon current interdepartmental synergies to increase production throughput facility wide

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
