DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Business Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Strike Division Business Management organization. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL and is an onsite position.This is a dynamic role supporting a large operating unit in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Business Management Manager is responsible for the integration and oversight of all Business Management efforts including new business pursuits, business acquisition processes, compliance, funding analysis, financial analysis, earned value management analysis, internal audits, and business case scenarios. The manager is also responsible for partnering with the Program Office to ensure accurate, time-sensitive reporting and briefing to leadership.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with management as it relates to financial program status and analyses
- Coordinate with business management functions including contracts, pricing, proposal development, accounting, program planning & financial control, financial planning and program scheduling
- Coordinate cost and schedule analyses to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Support proposal preparation, fact-finding and contract negotiations as needed to ensure business management issues are represented as necessary
- Work with Business as well as Integrated Product Teams on assigned responsibilities, including Internal and external customer interactions, EVMS implementation and analysis, or CAM duties as required; support and guidance to PMs and CAMs; inputs and knowledge of contracts; analysis and review of EACs and variance analysis research and reporting
- Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability, meeting financial goals, and team performance
Basic Qualifications:- Must either have a bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 7 years finance/business management work experience or a master's degree from an accredited university and 5 years finance/business management work experience or a PhD from an accredited university and 3 years finance/business management work experience
- Experience with aspects/phases of Business Management in developing and managing financial goals and overseeing monthly financial reporting
- Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teams
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- The ability to travel 10+% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience leading a team, either as a lead, functional manager, or matrix manager
- Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
- DoD Secret Security Clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
