Full Job Description

The Business Intelligence Manageris responsible forleading the development and implementation of data-driven strategies that support business decision-making. This role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of reporting systems and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and relevance across departments. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentifykey performance indicators (KPIs), streamline reporting processes, and drive insights that improve operational efficiency and strategic planning.

This is an onsite position, based in Springfield, MO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the BI team in delivering high-quality data analytics and reporting solutions
  • Design, develop, andmaintaindashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data insights.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all reporting platforms.
  • Develop andmaintaindata modelsandqueriestosupport reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with EDW to ensure data processes support reporting needed.
  • Monitor andoptimizeperformance of BI tools and reporting systems.
  • Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and data interpretation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and data governance
  • Additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required:Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (Masterspreferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting.
  • Proven experience managing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Strong SQL, DAX & Pythonskillsand experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding ofmachine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
