Volt is immediately hiring an HR Benefits Manager in White Plains NY, 10605 (Hybrid)

As an HR Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for:
Our Human Resources - Employee Benefits team works with internal and external partners to ensure company provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to engage employees in health and financial wellbeing. By joining our team, you will lead the administration of programs including medical, prescription drug, life, disability, the EAP, and a suite of voluntary benefit programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and manages benefit policies, systems, programs, and procedures. Manage the day-to-day administration of assigned benefit program including vendor relationship - deploy meaningful communications that promote assigned programs to increase engagement and awareness.
  • Administers day-to-day operations of assigned programs - Subject Matter Expert for medical, prescription drug, LOA and Disability, voluntary programs, EAP, customer advocacy.
  • Ensures the accuracy of benefit enrollment in the outsourced benefits platform.
  • Evaluates and recommend the optimization of benefit programs (methods, providers, costs, fiscal implications, and tools) in a coherent and harmonized manner.
  • Work with Vendors and Consultants to analyze the data and provide program experience tracking.
  • Reviews, reconciles, and approves benefit invoices for assigned programs.
  • Develops, designs, distributes, and presents benefits information for new hire orientations, open enrollment, and other informational sessions.
  • Coordinates and vendor manage administrative processing, work methods, resource optimization, budget control, training, and development plans. Responds to benefits inquiries, monitors eligibility status, and assists participants with submitting and monitoring various claims.
  • Collaborates with internal partners (HRIS, Payroll, Legal, Safety, Procurement, Communications and Finance teams) on the implementation, processing, budgeting, forecasting, communication, and compliance of assigned benefits programs.
  • Assists with developing and administering employee wellness programs, benefits fair, and various events.
  • Vendor management/monitoring of assigned programs (research best practices, analyze annual review data, implement program offerings, increase engagement levels, develop communications, answer inquiries, maintain compliance).
  • Responsible for ensuring the LOA Disability program administration and process orientation is optimal for the employee experience.
  • Maintain review, education and training with HR staff, Line Managers and Safety to ensure plan design and rules are met.
  • Maintain knowledge of market and legislative benefits trends and evaluate costs/benefits to the company.
  • Ensure team is adhering to all requirements of benefit compliance (including but not limited to 5500 filings, 1094/5C filing, ARPA, PPACA, NDT testing).

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills:
  • You will have a bachelor's degree
  • You will have 10 years' experience working in Human Resources You will have previous knowledge of Microsoft products, excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Working knowledge of the standard principles of human resources benefits management
  • You will have knowledge of employee benefits regulations, language, principles and practices, and operating procedures.
  • You will have ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, administrative personnel, benefit vendors, and the public, including being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities, and disabilities.

Duration: 06 Months
Pay Range:? $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
