Full Job Description
Position Summary

Leads the design, administration, and continuous improvement of company benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave of absence. Ensures programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with employee needs and business objectives.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manages the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, which may include health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and/or leave of absence.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee-focused benefits and leave programs.
  • Evaluates plan performance, utilization, and market trends to inform recommendations on program design, cost management, and enhancements.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, FMLA, and related requirements.
  • Oversees vendor relationships, including performance management, contract review, and service delivery outcomes.
  • Leads benefits and leave-related projects, including implementations, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Develops and delivers clear employee communications and education to drive understanding and engagement with benefits programs.
  • Provides guidance and support to HR partners, leaders, and employees on complex benefits and leave-related matters.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job, including but not limited to: converse with co-workers and members of the general public, including customers; understand oral and written instructions as well as governmental regulations; respond to questions and inquiries from management and government representatives; and accurately complete various documents, reports and records required of the position.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in benefits administration, leave management, or total rewards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing health and welfare, retirement, or leave of absence programs.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Prior leadership or project management experience preferred.


Work Conditions and Physical Demands
