Full Job Description
Join Aprio's Assurance team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Assurance Services - Real Estate to join their dynamic team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
  • Conduct multiple auditing projects and client engagements.
  • Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop detailed engagement work plans.
  • Illustrate budgets and schedules.
  • Actively participate in proposals.
  • Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
  • Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients.
  • Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters.


Qualifications:

  • Developed specialties in the Real Estate space.
  • Nonprofit, Affordable Housing is preferred.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed CPA.
  • 4-7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm.
  • Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants.
  • Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers.
  • Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently.
  • Knowledge of audit software CaseWare (CaseView) a plus.


$120,000 - $160,000 a year

The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
