The Manager, Analytics manages the analysis, design, programming, debugging, modification, and delivery of data products for commercial and end user applications through the development and translation of detailed business requirements and functional specifications for internal and external clients.
The Manager provides services to meet the needs of the clients and takes responsibility for improving processes that are negatively affecting customer satisfaction and relationships. He/she anticipates and analyzes trends in technology, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business, providing solutions to address technology and business issues. This position has corporate functional leadership responsibility and is responsible for supervising staff hiring, goal setting, appraisal, development, and day-to-day coaching.

Role qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant technical and business experience in data analytics and/or health care environment.
- 2+ years of management experience
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- Ability to launch and deliver multiple, concurrent IT projects on time and within budget.
- Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, data structures and design
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
- Ability to establish and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external clients/vendors.
- Must be flexible and embrace change.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Demonstrated ability to lead large and small groups in requirements planning efforts.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more information technology processes/services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
- Excellent judgment, effective problem-resolution skills, and the ability to balance multiple (and often conflicting) demands.
Skills that will set you apart:- Knowledge of the Healthcare industry and healthcare data
- Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud-based applications leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
- IBM Cognos and Amazon Quick Suite experience
- AWS Redshift and/or AWS S3/Athena experience
- Master's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field of study
What you will be doing:- The Manager, Analytics owns the support and requirement's gathering of Availity data products while leading a team.
- The Manager provides services to meet the needs of both internal and external clients and collaborates with the Platform team and Product Architecture to improve process and the quality of code output.
- The Manager also is responsible for eliminating duplicate design and should promote solutions that reduce or eliminate technical debt.
- Ensures that development is positively affecting customer satisfaction and relationships.
- He/she anticipates and analyzes trends in technology, assessing the impact of emerging technologies and product delivery organizational design, providing solutions to address technology and business issues.
