Full Job Description
Position Purpose:

The Manager, Advertising Operations leads a team responsible for delivering campaign activations and a best-in-class advertiser experience to Orange Apron Media customers. This role establishes operating standards for campaign execution, ensures quality and troubleshooting rigor, and drives scalable processes that improve speed, accuracy, and advertiser satisfaction. The Manager, Advertising Operations partners cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Engineering, Analytics, Media, and Sales to resolve systemic issues, strengthen platform workflows, and enable teams to deliver consistent outcomes across pods/programs.

Key Responsibilities:

People Leadership & Capability Building (25%):
  • Coach and develop associates through structured touchpoints, development conversations, and accountability systems.
  • Strengthen onboarding and enablement to improve consistency and knowledge retention.
  • Allocate/adjust workload across pods/programs to maintain service levels and execution quality.


Campaign Operations & Activation Governance (25%)
  • Oversee campaign production and activation standards, ensure workflows are executed accurately and consistently across programs/pods.
  • Ensure operational requirements (inputs, timing, dependencies) are met, proactively remove roadblocks impacting on-time launch.


Account Support Oversight (15%)
  • Ensure advertiser-facing support meets expectations (responsiveness, clarity, proactive issue management) and improves advertiser confidence.
  • Establish team processes and workstreams that support consistent advertiser communications (updates, expectations, issue status, next steps).


Performance, Insights & Business Impact (15%)
  • Analyze operational, demand, and financial performance indicators to identify optimization opportunities and improve execution decisions.
  • Enable reporting/dashboards/insights that improve visibility and adoption internally (and externally where approved), elevating with cross-functional partners and leadership, as needed.


QA Support & Troubleshooting (10%)
  • Establish QA standards and troubleshooting practices; coordinate issue identification, validation, and resolution with partners.
  • Track recurring issues and lead prevention efforts (root cause patterns, process controls, documentation updates).


Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Partnership (10%)
  • Partner with Product/Engineering/UX and operational stakeholders to improve platform capabilities and activation processes.
  • Drive efficiencies through SOPs, automation, and ways of working improvements that reduce manual work.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • Position reports to Senior Manager, Advertising Operations
  • This position has direct reports


Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.


Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-6+ years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or media roles
  • Relevant experience in advertising technology/operations, campaign activation, QA/troubleshooting, and operational process design.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally to launch tools, improve workflows, and scale programs.
  • People leadership capability: coaching, accountability, development conversations, onboarding improvements, and certification support.
  • Ability to manage deadlines & milestones across multiple simultaneous initiatives.


Minimum Education:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.


Preferred Education:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
