Axle is seeking a Management Analyst Procurement Technician to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the Office of the Director (OD) located in Bethesda, MD.

Position Information:

The purpose of this position is to support the NIH Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program and manage GPCs across the NIH.

Deliverables:

  • Work products and documents related to utilizing bank and program systems to establish new purchase card accounts, process account change requests for existing accounts, verify accuracy of data by comparing across various systems, update any data discrepancies and process reports. - Daily
  • Work products and documents related to tracking documentation, organizing and maintaining files and working with staff on various tasks and activities as needed. - Daily

Statement of Work Details:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and program support to the NIH Purchase Card Program Office (PCP). - 1
  • Utilize bank and program systems to establish new purchase card accounts, maintain and process account change requests for existing accounts, maintain and track new purchase card accounts, and verify accuracy of data and comparing across various systems. Also, update any identified discrepancies. - 2
  • Draft purchase card related correspondence for the community. - 3
  • Organize and maintain purchase card filing system to track documentation. - 4
  • Proofread and spell-check all documents (drafts and final forms) and ensure accuracy of data prior to submitting them for review. - 5
  • Provides analysis and advisory services regarding management functions.
  • Prioritize deadlines and ensure that all tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepares a variety of management and administrative studies to analyze and evaluate internal procedures, policies, processes and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency.
  • Make recommendations to purchase card staff on issues related to all systems (i.e. PCS, NBS, Citibank, etc.).
  • Reviews and comments on new or proposed changes to existing policies, procedures or systems.
  • Prioritize deadlines and ensure that all tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepares reports in the areas of budget, procurement, HR, travel, etc.- Process reports and analyze data.
  • Work with staff on miscellaneous projects and data calls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard purchase card account information.
  • Reviews policy and regulation that governs the activities performed in the program.
