Summary

Duties

  • You will serve as a management analyst performing duties related to an Operations Officer regarding non-standard tasks to develop, analyze, and evaluate mission requirements.
  • You will coordinate the testing and certification process of key intelligence capabilities prior to being declared fully operational for use to accomplish national tasking.
  • You will review and approve personnel access requests to classified information and manage access to classified information under the purview of the Operational Support and Liaison Directorate by interpreting policy and resolving conflict.
  • You will review operational support plans produced by Directorate personnel prior to submission and for leadership coordination. You will monitor the planning, coordination, approval, and execution of operational support plans.

  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • Willing and able to submit to and successfully pass a polygraph examination on a recurring routine basis.
  • This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as:

1. Developing, analyzing, and evaluating mission requirements in direct support of the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA);

2. Making technical and non-technical decisions as required;

3. Utilizing verbal and written communication techniques in order to produce finished products, prepare and present briefings and represent the Activity in meetings and conferences;

AND 4. Interacting with the staff of Combatant Commanders, Numbered Fleets, Type Commanders, Joint Staff, Navy Staff and the Office of Naval Intelligence at the highest levels

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
