POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Management Analyst. This position provides business operations support to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Command Operations Group, located at Patuxent River, MD.

The preponderance of this position will be the day-to-day operations, executive administrative support, and consultation to the Senior Executive and their subordinate activities. This includes managing high-level correspondence, coordinating meetings and schedules, arranging conference calls, and serving as the primary executive administrative point of contact. The position will have frequent ad hoc, emergent work tasks based on the priorities of Naval Aviation and will need to make independent decisions, prioritize and organize work, and distribute actions to others within the organization based on subject matter.
  • Responsible to manage high visibility, high priority and time sensitive support to various executive military and civilians, as such frequent independent problem solving and decision-making expertise is required to manipulate and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required while working with all levels in the organization managing a multitude of projects, conducting organizational studies and evaluations, documenting processes, and procedures, conducting work simplification and measurement studies.
  • The analyst will be directly engaged in the day-to-day business operation, using discretion and judgment frequently throughout each day; directing, gathering, and formulating data calls to subordinate executive departments within the Command Operations Group.
  • Apply analytical, writing, and editing skills to produce or contribute to directives, presentations, reports, and publications and point papers.
  • Use organizational skills for establishing, validating and tracking command goals, actions and issues.
  • Provide executive administrative support; plan and document SES/Flag conferences & meetings: prepare flag award documentation; execute data calls for program and technical content. research and assemble command-wide accomplishments.
  • Coordinating meetings, keep meetings on tract, record minutes and actions items.
  • Enable appropriate prioritization of calendar, phone calls, schedule and workload considerations for all participants.
  • Support executive level meetings, primary point of contact and facilitator of meetings, and conferences held within the Management Information Center (MIC).
  • Provide correspondence support as required and ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained.
  • Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
  • Provide ad hoc support for senior leadership, as needed.
  • Operate within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and other systems (SharePoint and DTS) on a daily basis.

Pay Range: $82,500 to $90,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
  • At least four (4) years of experience as an analyst in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands.
  • Security Clearance Required: Secret

The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market data, and other business considerations, as permitted by law.
