Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Managed Services - Private ASR - Finance/Accounting Manager you will oversee accounting and finance workstreams that support client service delivery, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial record management. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach staff, and drive assigned work through clear planning, disciplined execution, and practical problem solving while validating that deliverables align with client needs and firm standards. In this role, you will also use technology and business insight to identify process improvements, support compliance activities, and help guide timely, accurate information that supports decision-making within our Finance practice.

In this role at PwC, you will manage client-facing accounting work, mentor team members, and coordinate priorities across multiple tasks while navigating changing demands and maintaining a focus on quality, timelines, and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

- Leading finance and accounting workstreams for private client service engagements and validating timely delivery of financial reporting outputs
- Managing teams through planning, execution, and review of accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial record keeping
- Coaching team members on accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and recurring close processes to improve consistency in deliverables
- Analyzing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting data to identify trends, variances, and decision support insights
- Overseeing the preparation of journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and account analysis for accurate period end close activities
- Coordinating issue resolution across client finance processes, escalating significant accounting matters and control concerns when needed
- Using accounting technology, digital tooling, and AI-enabled solutions to streamline workflows and improve recurring service delivery
- Building client relationships by presenting financial findings, discussing risks, and supporting informed business decisions

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Finance
- At least 5 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Prior experience working in public accounting or a controllership environment

- Current pursuit of CPA or an active CPA license

- Applying proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP/accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite, Workday, SAP, Bill.com, Ramp, and Double
- Managing finance and accounting client service teams
- Leveraging accounting advisory and financial reporting skills
- Taking ownership of project planning, budgeting, execution
- Mentoring team members through work review and coaching
- Applying accounting policies, practices, and ledger knowledge

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
