Full Job Description
The Investments Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative investment solutions that support the firm's Retail managed accounts offerings. This role sits at the intersection of product management, investment management, advisor and client experience, and technology, ensuring that solutions support scalable growth, meet regulatory standards, and deliver a best-in-class experience to advisors and investors. A defining aspect of this role is leading the expansion of the managed accounts platform to support next-generation investment solutions - including Alternative Investments, Direct Indexing, and Income Solutions - and managing the operational and technical integrations necessary to bring these capabilities to life. This includes overseeing the firm's integration with third party platforms as a critical enabler of scalable access within managed accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Investment Solutions Design & Implementation - The role will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of new investment solutions, ensuring they are thoughtfully structured, operationally scalable, and aligned to client and advisor needs. The role will define the investment solution framework, establish eligibility and qualification criteria, partner with internal investment teams and external managers, and oversee the build-out of supporting infrastructure. The Product Manager will also continuously evaluate the competitive landscape to identify emerging investment solution opportunities and maintain a pipeline of future capabilities.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap - The Investments Manager will define and execute a long-term product and platform vision that prioritizes the integration of new investment solutions alongside supporting firm growth, regulatory alignment, and evolving client and advisor needs. Competitive benchmarking will be conducted regularly to assess how the firm's investment solutions compare to peer offerings across advisory programs, fee structures, and available solution types. This analysis will inform product positioning, pricing, and enhancement priorities. A growth strategy centered on new investment solution adoption will be developed, leveraging training, digital engagement, and advisor education to drive meaningful utilization across the platform.
  • Governance & Regulatory Compliance - This role partners with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investment solutions, products, and workflows comply with firm policies, FINRA and SEC requirements, and ERISA and retirement plan regulations. This includes particular attention to the regulatory requirements associated with alternative investments, including SEC regulations governing private placements, accredited investor and qualified purchaser standards, FINRA suitability rules, and ERISA considerations for retirement accounts. The Product Manager will oversee disclosures, suitability frameworks, offering documents, and supervisory procedures, and will serve as the primary subject matter expert for internal and external inquiries, audits, and supervision requests. Committee oversight will be maintained to ensure investment agreements are upheld in accordance with policy.
  • Advisor Enablement & Education - Given the complexity of certain solution types, advisor education and enablement is a significant component of this role. The Investment Solutions Manager will assist in the creation of training materials, product guides, and sales support resources to help advisors understand investment solution structures, liquidity profiles, risk considerations, and portfolio construction implications. This includes partnering with distribution and marketing to create content that builds advisor confidence and drives meaningful adoption of new solutions across the platform.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - The Product Manager collaborates across technology, operations, platform partners, internal investment teams, marketing, and distribution to deliver new investment solutions, program enhancements, and strategic initiatives. The role serves as the primary subject matter expert for managed programs and investment solutions across the organization, providing guidance and thought leadership as the platform evolves to include more sophisticated solution types.
