Full Job Description

We are seeking a “Manage-Plan to Produce Systems” who will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of integrated SAP solutions across the enterprise and a strong focus on the Plan-to-Produce (P2P) process. This role requires deep functional expertise across multiple SAP modules, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to architect integrated SAP landscapes that align with business goals. 

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the manufacturing industry, specifically focusing on the Plan-to-Produce (P2P) process to architect and lead SAP solutions that optimize manufacturing operations, from production planning through execution, ensuring seamless integration across SAP modules to drive operational efficiency and business value.

You Will Have an Opportunity to:

Plan to Produce:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive SAP solution blueprints.

  • Architect and optimize solutions that support the full Plan-to-Produce process, encompassing demand management, production planning and scheduling, shop floor execution, inventory management, quality assurance, and maintenance by leveraging SAP modules like PP, PM and IBP or other E2E supply chain advance planning systems.

  • Ensure seamless integration and alignment between SAP modules (PP/MM etc) and external systems (e.g., MES, automation tools) to enable efficient end-to-end manufacturing workflows.

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices, process improvements, and configuration strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

  • Work with technical teams to design interfaces and integrations between SAP and other manufacturing execution systems (MES), automation tools, and third-party applications.

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices, process improvements, and configuration strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

  • Ensure the aged help desk ticket volume stays lower meeting SLAs at the same time.

E2E Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive SAP solution blueprints.

  • Lead the end-to-end functional design and architecture of SAP solutions across multiple modules, including PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), FI/CO (Finance and Controlling), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), and WM (Warehouse Management).

  • Lead and drive SAP and other systems implementations globally.

  • Develop and document comprehensive SAP solution blueprints that support production planning, scheduling, shop floor control, inventory management, quality assurance, and maintenance processes.

Solution Governance and Compliance:

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices, process improvements, and configuration strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

  • Oversee SAP configuration, customization, and integration activities to meet functional and technical requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and internal governance frameworks within SAP implementations.

  • Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments related to SAP changes, upgrades, and new implementations within the manufacturing landscape.

  • Support and oversee functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training related to manufacturing SAP solutions.

  • Conduct impact analysis, risk assessments, and governance reviews for SAP changes, upgrades, and new implementations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive SAP solution blueprints.

  • Consistently communicate to the business and IT stakeholders on an ongoing basis in regard to tickets, projects or any other initiative.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Mentor and lead SAP functional consultants and cross-functional teams, fostering knowledge sharing, skill development.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

  • Manage team’s performance to consistently deliver.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 8+ years of SAP functional experience with a strong focus on manufacturing and Plan-to-Produce processes.

  • Deep expertise in SAP PP, MM, QM, PM, WM, and SD modules as they relate to manufacturing operations.

  • Proven track record of leading SAP manufacturing implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as production planning, shop floor control, quality management, and maintenance.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and digital manufacturing technologies (MES, IoT, Industry 4.0) is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

  • SAP certification(s) in relevant manufacturing modules is a plus.

  • Six Sigma green belt is preferred.

  • CSCP/CPIM desired.
