Location: Germantown, MD

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Compensation Range: $45.00-$55.00 commensurate with experience

A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.


Here is what you will need:
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;
  • Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;
  • High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred;
  • Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location;
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred;
  • Two years of experience in mammography is preferred;
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;
  • Prior quality control experience preferred;
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)). Amount offered may vary in an amount of up to $15,000 depending upon experience level, location and qualifications.
