DUTIES:
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Accelerated Compensation for Developmental Position (ACDP) under the direct guidance of a Senior and/or Lead performing duties in support of assigned program(s) for the function. This position is intended to develop incumbents who can deal effectively with change and complexity within the Air Force environment as it relates to their career field to perform the full range of work, to apply the training and/or education received and complete developmental assignments and training outlined in the formal training & development plan. The full performance (target) level of this position is NH-3; Incumbent must meet all regulatory training requirements prior to promotion to the target grade. The incumbent will receive formal, informal, and/or on the-job training in the specialty area, and assignments will become progressively more difficult in nature. Assignments at this level are designed to provide the knowledges, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties at the full performance level.
Utilizing a program and analytical knowledge as a program analyst and knowledge of other related fields of work to perform duties in support of conventional projects or portions of larger projects and programs under the guidance of a senior and/or lead analyst. Carries out special projects designed to facilitate the full use of training and development. Leads and participates in briefings, meetings, committees, boards, etc., and may be required to represent the organization at meetings/conferences. Works to achieve and support quality improvement in all products and services. Actively supports and participates in Lean events applicable or related to assigned duties.
Requirements:

- The work may require occasional representation of the Complex at a variety of conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and similar events.
- The work requires extensive and frequent interpersonal contact via telephone, electronic mail, written correspondence, video teleconference and personal interaction with new and existing customers and other representatives spanning a wide array of organizations and functions.
- May be required to work overtime.
- May be required to take irregular lunch periods.
- May be required to travel away from the normal duty station via military or commercial aircraft and other forms of transportation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
1. Thorough knowledge of maintenance and production operations, workload management, and general business operations and functions. Knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, instructions, and policies governing and guiding depot maintenance to include organic and/or partnership workload establishment and implementation.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to collect, organize, analyze and present data as a basis for decisions by senior management. Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations and procedures, working independently and in a self-directed manner to continually initiate and implement process improvements leading to greater efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
3. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with work loading, production, public and private customers, and administrative staff, as well as management both within and external to the organization. Ability to plan and organize work and coordinate with other disciplines.
4. Ability to apply lean, safety, security, and health principles, practices, and procedures and to understand and apply internal management procedures.
