Maintenance Training Superintendent

We are looking for a Maintenance Training Superintendent to lead and support the plant maintenance training program. This role is responsible for developing team member capabilities through structured training, hands-on learning, and continuous skill development to support safe, efficient plant operations. The maintenance training team partners closely with maintenance and operations to ensure team members are properly trained, developed, and progressing within required programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate the maintenance training program, including e-learning, hands-on labs, and field training for maintenance team members.
  • Track, document, and report team member progress, ensuring training requirements are met and providing feedback to leadership.
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching to team members to strengthen technical skills and comprehension in real work environments.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training curriculum, materials, and lab equipment specific to plant needs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver specialized equipment training and ensure alignment with plant operations.
  • Maintain training records, documentation, tools, and lab resources to support consistent and effective program execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Need:
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical associate degree, or completion of a vocational/technical certification in a related field preferred;
• Experience: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience with maintenance training programs, e-learning platforms, or similar development tools;
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and systems such as SAP, strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills, ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
