About this Role

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an opening for a Maintenance Technologist Lead in Seadrift (TX).

This role provides maintenance technical input and oversight for the daily technical support necessary to maintain safe and reliable operation. Participates on maintenance team which supports reliability improvement across all Operations facilities. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and/or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. May act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others.

Responsibilities
  • Provides experience on failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations
  • Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions
  • Ensures repair techniques, repair procedures, and equipment specific training are documented and made available
  • Provides maintainability input to GPM and other improvement activities
  • Provide technical support for specification, identification and purchasing of needed parts
  • Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator and operations input
  • As appropriate and required, reviews spare parts list for existing equipment and works with MRO to ensure parts are identified, added and stocked in the MRO system in support of the maintenance strategy
  • Develops maintenance procedures based on Most Effective Technology (MET)
  • Enters quality complaints into the QSPP system
  • Participates with RE in developing the equipment maintenance strategy by providing technical and historical information
  • Participates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy
  • Serves as a technical resource to the planner on work packages
  • During development of turnaround work, provides input on scope of work
  • Evaluates Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) activities and determines appropriate action
  • Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy
  • Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Relief Valve and Control Valve experience
  • SAP experience
