Role: Multi-Skilled Operator IV
Job Description:This senior-level position is responsible for well operations and equipment management in an oil and gas production environment. The role provides technical and functional expertise in operating and maintaining production facilities, including gas lifted wells, ESPs, separation equipment, compression systems, and associated infrastructure. This position acts as a technical specialist and lead, coordinating work activities while proactively monitoring and optimizing production performance.
Responsibilities:- Operate and manage well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, and control board operation
- Oversee pipeline operation and perform minor maintenance of valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Assist other operators and craft personnel in their duties
- Prepare for and perform maintenance activities, including taking readings, conducting rounds, and issuing work permits
- Follow and write procedures, initiate work requests, and interface with support groups
- Proactively monitor well and equipment performance and take appropriate action to maximize production
- Work with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.)
- Interface with Engineering for data gathering requests
- Track test compression data
- Conduct fluid levels with echo meter
- Recommend solutions to complex problems
- Act as a technical/functional lead, coordinating the work of others
Skills and Qualifications:- Senior level position, typically 7+ years of relevant oil and gas industry experience
- Technical/functional specialist in production operations discipline
- Ability to apply extensive knowledge and experience to a wide variety of situations
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to provide technical support
- Experience with well operations, production equipment, and facility systems
- Proven ability to recommend solutions to complex operational problems
- Leadership capabilities to coordinate work of others (non-supervisory role)
Role Details:Location: Kenedy, Texas
Schedule: 10 Days On/4 Days Off (12Hr Days)
Pay: $44/ Hr
