Flexibility: May be required to cover second shift and weekends as needed
How You'll Spend Your DayAll areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in good working conditions.
Your Skills and ExperienceAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Two or more years of mechanical maintenance or a related field.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Pharma or GMP manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Flexibility to cover second shift and weekends when needed.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
Also Good to Have• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Boiler license certification is a nice to have
Salary RangeThe annual starting salary for this position is between $71,440 to $89,300 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
