OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of 30-50 hourly maintenance technicians and coordinators, driving safe, reliable, and efficient plant maintenance operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Section Supervisor, this role offers strong growth potential with pathways into Facilities, Engineering, Supply Chain, Technology, and Division Engineering.
Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and coach a team of maintenance technicians and coordinators - setting clear performance expectations, building accountability, and recognizing high achievement.
- Oversee repair and maintenance of plant manufacturing equipment, including break-fix, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and spares management.
- Champion a safe work culture - model safe practices, ensure team compliance, and proactively identify and address unsafe conditions.
- Manage staffing allocation to align with production shift support requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to meet objectives across quality, operating expenses, inventory, equipment uptime, and on-time shipment.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in a Technical field or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Computer skills (Excel - basic formulas and Word)
Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science (Engineering or technical preferred)
- 2-3 years previous leadership experience
- Experience in LOTO and Rigging
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the plant organization
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Experience using a CMMS system. Maximo preferred
Occasional off hours support required.This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $88,942.00 - $122,295.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
