As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will hold an important role in the Kings Mountain Operations facility. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. You will support the long-term success of the Volvo Group and KMO by providing leadership. In addition, you will be supporting the short and mid-term activities for your function and the plant to meet maintenance objectives. You will be responsible for safety, quality, delivery, continuous improvement, environment, people development and cost of the maintenance process as well as cascading and involving your team members in the business objectives. Main activities and responsibilities for these roles: • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to complete work orders during planned production downtime • When necessary, support reactive maintenance activities handed down from previous production shift directly working with your team to correct issues primarily on MIG and resistance spot welding equipment, robotics, and hydraulics • Complete standard shift reports daily and coach the maintenance team on completion of data capture for equipment breakdown events • Lead your Maintenance team against set safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets by leading and coaching your maintenance team. • Continue the implementation of Volvo Production System (VPS), which means to implement standardized ways of working, develop the organization, and achieve contribution from all employees • Full accountability and ownership of your team's development, employee relations, project follow up, midterm road map (0-1 year) and policy deployment from plant to operator level.
