Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance workforce responsible for sustaining, modifying, and repairing complex systems and subsystems supporting the Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) for a US Army mission. This role oversees multiple concurrent maintenance and repair projects while ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and adherence to engineering standards. The Maintenance Supervisor provides hands on leadership, trains maintenance personnel, coordinates with government and contractor engineering teams, and ensures that all systems remain fully operational and field ready. The ideal candidate brings deep technical experience and strong leadership skills in maintaining advanced electronic, communications, computer based, or platform level systems.

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Maintenance Workforce Leadership
. Train, supervise, and mentor maintenance personnel across multiple technical disciplines
. Assign tasks, manage daily maintenance operations, and oversee quality of work performed
. Ensure maintenance team compliance with safety, technical, and organizational standards
Management of Maintenance, Modification & Repair Projects
. Manage simultaneous maintenance and repair activities for multiple systems and subsystems
. Oversee modifications, installations, upgrades, and corrective maintenance activities
. Ensure all work aligns with engineering requirements, technical manuals, and configuration standards
Coordination & Collaboration
. Coordinate with government and contractor engineering personnel, inspectors, and program staff
. Serve as the primary technical liaison for maintenance actions requiring engineering approval
. Participate in technical reviews, readiness assessments, and maintenance planning sessions
Technical Analysis & Problem Resolution
. Evaluate problematic systems or subsystems to determine necessary repair, replacement, or modification actions
. Perform root cause analysis to identify performance issues and develop corrective actions
. Provide technical guidance during troubleshooting and complex maintenance activities
Resource & Labor Management
. Calculate labor hours, material needs, and resource requirements for maintenance tasks
. Assist in workload forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation
. Track maintenance metrics, readiness levels, and performance indicators
Maintenance Procedures & Standards Development
. Develop, refine, and implement maintenance procedures, guidelines, and best practices
. Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with engineering expectations
. Support updates to maintenance manuals, SOPs, and task level instructions
Systems Supported
. May include electronic systems and subsystems, communication systems, computer hardware systems, platform or vehicular systems,

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education
. AA/AS degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, OR
. Completion of a 2 year technical school program with certification in area of expertise
Experience
. 10+ years of experience in the relevant technical field (electronics, communications, mechanical, aircraft, computer hardware, or related systems)
. Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory, lead, or team lead capacity
. Experience performing maintenance, repair, or modification of complex systems and subsystems
Technical Skills
. Strong understanding of maintenance processes, technical drawings, and system documentation
. Ability to evaluate failures, identify corrective actions, and manage repair efforts
. Proficiency in maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and test procedures
. Experience with configuration control, quality requirements, and technical compliance
Leadership & Communication Skills
. Proven ability to lead maintenance teams in fast paced technical environments
. Strong communication skills for coordinating with engineering teams and inspectors
. Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Advanced Domain Knowledge
. Experience maintaining military systems, tactical equipment, or C5ISR platforms
. Familiarity with Defense maintenance policies, standards, and lifecycle sustainment practices
. Experience supporting field exercises, integration events, or operational test environments
Tools & Systems Knowledge
. Experience with maintenance management systems, work order tracking, or configuration tools
. Familiarity with electronic troubleshooting tools, communication test sets, or platform diagnostic systems
. Knowledge of reliability and maintainability principles
Certifications
. OEM technical certifications relevant to the systems supported
. Defense maintenance or logistics certifications (e.g., DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics)
. Safety certifications such as OSHA 10/30 or equivalent
Additional Skills
. Strong organizational and scheduling abilities
. Experience developing maintenance training materials or on the job training plans
. Capability to support readiness reporting, maintenance analytics, or fleet health tracking

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $139,300.00.
