GENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB (Summary)This position is accountable for providing expertise and direction in the area of maintenance. This position will work with the EPCM Team and contractors to ensure the project facilities are properly maintained and there is a proper tracking system to support these activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFunctional Responsibilities- Provide the Mechanical Leaders with clerical and technical support for all equipment on the project
- Develop, implement, and continually update the Maintenance Program. Facilitate and monitor the Maintenance work order system
- Ensure that a Maintenance Plan is in place for all equipment on the project. Ensure all OEM and best practice approaches are met and / or exceeded
- Track performance expectations and report on as required for all equipment maintenance with appropriate identified management metrics
- Audit and assist the contractor in their Maintenance Programs
- Define, communicate, and monitor key maintenance processes
- Other duties as assigned

- Ensure work is completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
Supervisory Responsibilities- Ensures that the crew members know and understand safety and operating procedures and meet these standards at all times
- Ensure that equipment and manpower are used optimally in their area of responsibility with the objectives of production, safety, health, and cost effectiveness considered
HEALTH & SAFETY- Work in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Cementation
- Incorporate Health and Safety considerations in all functions and daily activities of the position
- Monitor work environment for health and safety hazards or infractions and reports the same to Health and Safety Department
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter
- Use proper equipment for the job, i.e. stepladder vs. chair
QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 7 years of trades and maintenance planning
Certificate(s), License(s), Registration(s)- MSHA Underground Certification required
- Trade Certificate preferred
