Job Purpose and ImpactThe Maintenance Superintendent will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs. In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards realized through reliable operations across the region.
Key Accountabilities- Develop preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate and integrates with other plant functions to ensure support.
- Ensure work is performed following safety guidelines to ensure health and wellbeing of employees.
- Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans and assigns tasks.
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure that disruption to production is minimized.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proficient in PSM (process safety management)
- Has an Ammonia Refrigeration Systems Certification - Operator Level 2
- 2 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications- Ability to read & interpret detail blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, ladder logic and wiring schematics
- SAP experience
- Boiler experience
- Rendering experience
- Willing to be a part of the Hazmat team
- Willing to obtain class 2 Nebraska wastewater license within 12 months.
