What You'll DoYou'll be part of a talented team supporting our distribution center and office facilities. You'll apply advanced technical expertise to program, configure, integrate, diagnose, maintain, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and automated systems that support our operations including:
- Industrial controls and automation systems, with a particular focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Conveyor systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Electrical distribution equipment
- HVAC systems
You'll also support general facility upkeep. Ultimately, you'll do what is needed to keep the facility up and running, allowing our teams to focus on getting products to customers accurately and quickly.
When You'll WorkWe are currently hiring for second-shift and overnight coverage. These positions may require variable schedules based on business needs, so flexibility in work hours and schedules is required.
Who You AreWe're looking for dependable team players who prioritize and communicate well, take pride in their work, and can also work well independently. You should have 5+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong foundation of mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, including:
- Advanced proficiency with PLCs and HMIs, including programming and troubleshooting PLC- controlled equipment, interpreting and writing logic and digital inputs/outputs, diagnosing faults, and creating and using HMIs to identify and resolve equipment or process issues
- Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS), including integrating new equipment into existing BMS infrastructure
- Experience with hand tools, small gearbox maintenance, and diagnosis of gear and belt drive systems
- Familiarity with centrifugal pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical prints and use a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Experience diagnosing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Experience with vehicle repair and maintenance to address intermittent issues, guidance- related malfunctions or codes, steering issues
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
The following experience is highly relevant but not required:
- Experience with highly automated packaging, sortation, or carton closeout machines
- Mechanical skills - welding, machining, fabrication, operating a Lathe, Bridgeport, MIG and/or TIG welder, or Sheet Metal Brake, moving and setting equipment, moving conveyors, maintaining HVAC or fire suppression systems
- Electrical skills - Arc Flash protocols, programming VFDs
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Basic vehicle maintenance and support, such as identifying vehicle fault codes and completing routine repairs including tire, wheel, or bearing replacement
Cash CompensationTotal cash compensation typically ranges from $119,600 -$137,600, depending on your experience and skill set. This includes profit sharing, which is based on company profitability.
Total compensation may also include additional earnings through shift premiums (also known as shift differentials) for employees regularly scheduled on weekend, second, or overnight (third) shifts.
