The Opportunity

Are you ready to lead a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are key to success? Hitachi Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support our Small Power Transformer manufacturing facility in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

In this role, you will help drive operational excellence by ensuring critical production equipment, facility systems, and utilities operate safely and efficiently. You'll lead daily maintenance activities, mentor and develop maintenance professionals, and play a key role in improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams, you'll help deliver high-quality products that support the world's growing energy needs.

How you'll make an impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.

  • Analyze equipment failures and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Utilize CMMS tools to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset history.
  • Champion safety programs, including LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, and hot work compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, equipment performance, and operational efficiency through Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Background
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
  • Experience supporting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting, reliability principles, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience using CMMS platforms to plan, schedule, and document maintenance activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
