Full Job Description

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
To supervise the daily job assignments in support of Maintenance ensuring compliance with company policy and appropriate regulatory
standards on day shift.

Major Duties Responsibilities

1. Ensures compliance with EHS guidelines, cGMP regulations, company policies and other external agency regulations with 
maintenance program. Monitors and supports adherence to procedures and programs. Identifies areas of opportunity and 
of non-compliance (Safety and Quality) and takes specific actions to escalate and to resolve the issue promptly. 
2. Develops new systems, practices and procedures to enhance the performance of the business. 
3. Provide training for Maintenance group and support training initiative for maintenance group. 
4. Develops, approves and conduct periodic reviews of SOPs and other technical documentation required for Maintenance. 
5. Completes and/or provides support to investigations and resolutions of Maintenance related Quality Events and Safety 
Events. 
6. Processes QE’s, CAPA’s and Audit responses according to established due dates. 
7. Support basic risk mitigations options and advanced troubleshooting to identify root cause and appropriate corrective 
actions for equipment system problems. 
8. Maintains a thorough knowledge of short and long range business priorities and objectives through regular communication 
with management adjusting Maintenance execution to ensure alignment with strategy and goals. 
9. Develops and implements Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish goals to accomplish World-Class Maintenance performance. 
10. Active member of all Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives participating in and/or providing resources to 
improve the reliability of our systems, equipment and operations. Identifies areas of opportunities to optimize equipment 
and systems using Maintenance Programs data, evaluating the impact on policies and regulations, allocating Capital or 
expenses required, developing action plans and implementing. 
11. Ensures Job Plans are current and in order to apply the proper Preventive, Predictive Maintenance procedures. 
12. Supports the development of related procedures and programs, implement and monitor performance. Identifies areas of 
opportunity and prepare specific action plans to increase awareness and to maintain compliance. 
13. Be the point of contract for scheduling and planning to maintenance related work and projects. Lead maintenance related projects as deemed necessary.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to provide support during external and internal regulatory audits (FDA, EMEA, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Maximo or other CMMS applications required. 
  • Demonstrated aptitude for engineering principles and building and/or manufacturing automation systems. 
  • Experience in working in an environment governed by SOPs and cGMPs and ability to work and manage within a regulatory oversight. 
  • Adaptable to a fast paced, complex and ever-changing business environment. 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are critical. 
  • Strong knowledge of Delta V operating systems.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Maintenance, Operations and Engineering generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in 
  • engineering, or related discipline. 
  • A minimum of 10 years direct experience in maintenance operations and or engineering, supporting a biologics 
  • manufacturing facility and associated equipment.

Compensation Overview:

Devens - MA - US: $107,130 - $129,811

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.


Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.


Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs. Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
