Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Planner to drive maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing detailed maintenance work plans, coordinating resources, managing CMMS activities, and improving equipment reliability while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Create detailed job plans including labor, materials, tooling, permits, and safety requirements.
  • Manage work orders, PM programs, maintenance history, and KPIs within the CMMS.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and contractors.
  • Ensure parts, materials, and resources are available before scheduled work.
  • Analyze maintenance data, downtime trends, and equipment performance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Lead maintenance scheduling meetings and drive schedule compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, RCFA, and reliability best practices.
  • Promote compliance with OSHA, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor safety requirements.


Qualifications

Required
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience planning, scheduling, or coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, or similar).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of maintenance planning or maintenance leadership experience.
  • SAP PM or Maximo experience.
  • CMRP, CRL, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Improve equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records and backlog management.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
